2024 U18 'A' Playoffs

Format

This season the split will be at five teams.

The top five teams in the division will playoff to be the 'A' Division Champions.

Each team will play two games weighted on where they placed in the standings.

The team with the best record after they have played their two games will automatically advance to the finals.

The remaining four teams will be ranked according to where they placed after their two games and play in the 1/4 finals.

With the winners advancing to the Semi-Finals and the winner of that game advancing to the finals.

In the event that two teams are tied after their two games the first tie breaker will be Goals For, second tied breaker will be Goals Against.

If a third tie breaker is needed the team with the least penalty minutes will advance and the forth tie breaker will be which team scored the

fastest goal in their first game played.

There will be no ties. All games must have a winner.

If your game is tied you will play a 5 minute 3 on 3 with a goalie.

First goal wins.

If still tied there will be sudden victory shootout.

One player from each team will shot, if one scores and the other does not the game is over.

This will continue until a winner is declared.

Format

The U18 'B' Division Playoffs will have three teams.

Each team will play the other once in a round-robin format.

The team with the best record after their two games will advance to the 'B' Finals.

The remaining two teams will play in the Semi-Finals to see who advances to the finals.

If two teams are tied after their two games the game played between each other will determine

which team gets the higher seeding.

In the event that three teams are tied after their two games the first tie breaker will be Goals For, second tied breaker will be Goals Against.
